Greetings Young Patriots!
Here’s a little intro for this next week. We have even more than usual for you to be looking forward to!
First of all, tomorrow is Constitution Day and marks the start of Constitution Week! In 1956, President Eisenhower enacted Constitution Week, which runs annually from September 17th-September 23rd. Constitution Week began due to a congressional resolution petitioned by the Daughters of the American Revolution. However, it was President George W. Bush who officially declared the inception of Constitution Week in 2002.
Tomorrow marks 229 years since our Constitution was signed on September 17, 1787. In honor of Constitution week, we will be posting a fun fact and quote regarding our Constitution each day (17th-23rd). In addition to the fun facts and our other usual posts, we’re going to do a group post with our contributors which we hope you will enjoy!
Also, this week we’re excited to have our first post from one of our contributors. We will be hearing from Benjamin, who will be authoring our regular post on Monday. We trust you’ll enjoy and be blessed by what he has to share!
